My tial wastegate hits my hood and it won't latch. I think an Sir hood would give the right clearance. What is needed to make it fit? Does anyone make an aftermarket one that will fit right on without haveing to change other stuff?

 

I know hasport was working on a fg one awhile ago and siz made a post somewhere about a friend making fg hoods and there's always the fiberimages hood. other than that, you're gonna need headlights and a rad support....

!!!!!!!! ....???? MAN....900$ for the front end!! What type of **** are people smoke'n these days..!! Iwas able to get my EF-9 front end with all the goodies for 500$ back in 96 back when I had the 91 civic.. Damn...dont pay more than 600$

Well you can just look on eBay. There is a guy there that sells SiR hoods that fit directly onto USDM 88-91 Civic/CRXs without any mods. They are carbon fibre and are like $399 opening bid. I was thinking about getting one then said **** it because I didnt need it. You should look into it. If you search for CF hoods just on the main page you will most likely find this guy. Just click on the 'Ask Seller' a question link in one of his auctions and see if he has some CRX or Civic ones that you need.
