Default 3-inch stainless Down Pipes who would be interested?

I need to know who would be interested. If I have enough people from various boards I can get them made on a very affordable scale and the welds are "The Best". We had one made for b16 in a crx and the gains were pretty damn good. The bends are mandrel very very nice pieces. I would just need a couple of the most popular exhaust flanges so it could be put on any setup. Anyone who would donate their flange would get a good break on the already cheap price (you'd get the flange back welded to your SS-DP it).
Let me know if you're interested.

I can price them according to quantity.

I would be interested as well..I've got one of art's 3" ones and like it but it's closed loop..I am looking to go back to open wastegate! or be able to alternate between the two!

I've also got the 2.5" one that comes w/ a drag kit so you can use the flange off that dp!

It would be 3 in all the way, as well as open WG. It would keep the original sized flange I know that alot of the kits have 2.5 inch flanges, if you want to radius the inside of the flange more power to you but it gets really thin. We just left a little step on the inside of the flange and it works just fine. The one we had made fit a crx with a b16 and it made one hell of a difference in power. The car is only pushing 6-7 psi and the tires started breaking when boost came on in 3rd and in 4th towards stock red-line (8100). O2 sensor would be placed where it is on your current dp to minimize clearance problems.
I have to get an amount of people who will get them to see if I can get a price that would work on both ends... say if 150-200(example) people would want the upgrade it would turn out alot cheaper for everyone. Im going to figure out what number I would need to hit to make it cost effective. Tell me what a "Good Guy" price would be for you all and Ill see if I can hit it.

The DP would be without a flex although Im sure we could extend it under the car and give you enough length to play with if you'd like to add a FP.

Well, a "Good Guy" price. Let's see, I was going with art, but I was worried about my budget. Art sells his all day long for $300 with flex and $250 without. Is it possible to use the flex from the 2.5 downpipes? I know it is bigger than the 2.5 pipe. Is there any way to get flex with this downpipe?

I'd pay $$$ for a 2.5" that'll work with a/c on a 91 Civic B16a FMAX - ish kit. I have my Flex Pipe on my cat-pipe... no need for one on the downpipe. I'd like it closed loop, with the wastegate coming in near the cat-flange. Lemme know what you can do on a price for that.

Is Art's stainless? (I dont know) This part would be more of a "race and off road use only" type thing.. The crx is a street car with dp only (no smog is great!) its actually pretty quiet if he isnt into it. It has an extension that goes to about mid car and pointed at the ground. Im going to try to get some digi pics if I can get the camera within a couple of days.

Need a 3 inch down pipe. where your downpipe connect to? If you are connecting to the cat then I think the flange won't match or else it's gonna connect straight to the exhaust which would need to flange the exhaust also unless it's preflanged to fit on the thermal 3 inch. How bout you make the downpipe like the drag but three inch stainless and leave the end open so I can pick out the flange myself since I am probably gonna flange it my way. Price wise it's up to you, just as inexpensive as possible. BTW, the car is 95 civic HB with GSR motor. NO flex pipe needed, solid rear mount is the best.

I may have another downpipe for you if the price is right. He has a 91 CRX with a Rev hard kit. You might want to email me offline to talk further about this.

I don't quite understand your explanation of the 3" flanges and all that. For a LS integra revhard, if it's 3" at the downpipe/turbine flange, it seems to me like the A/C would have to come out. Are you saying that to overcome this, the piping in that section is very thin?

I'd say a good guy price would be $200 shipped since it doesn't come with flex or closed loop.

****, I might not be in, though...I'm picking up my Thermal on friday and I planned to go down to a good muffler shop to have him modify my downpipe into 3" the following day. The only way I'm in is if you get this thing going and have them ready in like a week or so.

and how are you gonna get all these different type of manifolds to customize the DP?? No Offense, but if you asked me to send you my manifold so that you can make me a DP, I'd have a really big second thought.

The Dp is going to be (If enough interest) more of a race part. We would have to copy the dp flange to make sure that everything bolts up to the exhaust housing. As you all know a Rev Hard in a CRX DP will be different from a Teg with a Drag kit or whatever. Im not doing this for a profit. I am doing this to help you all get a better $-per hp. Materials and hours alone push cost up to a no profit situation. The reason why I ask to borrow your DP would be so that we could make a 3in version of what you already have. Now for you all out there that have 88-91 crx/civics if you can run ac with the revhard then you can run it with the 3in dp. As for other situations I have no idea if you can keep your ac. AC should be the last thing on someones mind that would actually need this part. Its meant for the guys who want to go fast.
Bolt it on at the track and go.

hell yeah, would definitely be interested, 3" all the way, power steering and ac are unnecessary!!! Count me in, I can probably sell quite a few of them for you, let me know!

Im still working with him on how many different setups he would want to tackle. I really dont feel like getting into stuff like"a 83 accord with a h22 in it etc.." Im going to try to get him to provide the most popluar setups. I know he'll do more EF B series Rev Hard setups as he has the template ready to go but as far as anything else I have to have the DP in hand to make a 3 in copy with mandrel stainless. The welds are as good as it gets.

Is this thing going to happen or not? I know a pretty good amount of people running turbo setups that are interested, but we still haven't heard anything back.
