Default Intercoolers

Will the stock intercooler off the older talons/eclipses fix on the front of a del sol?

Anyone done this?

Well... I have a turbo set up right now with no intercooler, and I dont want to spend 400-500 bucks on one when i'm not running much boost. Where can I find a decent one for cheap?

The first gen eclipse/talon intercooler does fit 5th and 6th generation Civics so I think that it should fit Del Sols alright. It would then be a side mount. I have one on my 6th gen Civic with Greddy kit. It replaces the J-pipe that routes thru the passenger side of the bumper (right before the charge pipe). On my application, I had to cut the lower pipe on the intercooler and used radiator hose to extend it. If you have a turbo outside of a Greddy kit, you might have to rework the piping that you have. Look on ebay using the search for "intercooler" and it will have postings and pics of the one you're looking for and will give you a better idea on if it'll work for your application.
