Hey, i need some feedback on my exhaust. When i start my car up...even after warming up...it sounds like alot of air coming out my muffler. I have 2 1/4 inch piping from the cat-back to an Apexi N1 muffler. Please let me know what i can do to make it sound good.

Do you have a leak where your muffler meets your mid-pipe (b-pipe)? Did the piping you are currently using come with your Apex (2.36" or 60mm) or is it some other 2.25" piping that you had made?

Either way, it's very possible the gasket between the muffler flange and the b-pipe flange is gone/decayed/worn, and is creating a leak. Provide some more details, if you hold your hand underneath the point where the b-pipe hits the muffler piping, do you feel air coming out?

 

like he sed^^^^ check for leaks. do u have a straight pipe w/ no resinator?

 

Apexi N1 cat-back is 60mm, it sounds like you had the muffler custom welded with 2.25" piping. I would check the welds for any cracks and check the gaskets.
