OBD 0 to OBD 1 Conversion code 4
Hello,
I have recently done a conversion and keep getting a code 4 (ckp sensor) after starting the car. The distributor runs fine on OBD I car that is completely stock, no cel lights on that car. I have checked all the wires completely several times over. the wires are ran straight from the distributor to the ecu. They all have continuity and I have verified their locations at the ecu several times and this is very straight forward wiring. I have also used 4 different p28s and they all give the code 4. So, if the wiring is correct, the distributor is correct, and the p28s are all good in other cars, does anyone know what it could be?

usually, with that you have the 2 WHT wires switched on the OBD0 engine harness but in your case you ran it from dist to ECU so I'm puzzled...
Yes this is very confusing. I have done over 15 motor swaps with all kinds of different set ups. I have all of the wiring diagrams and those are in the right place. This is why it is so strange, it keeps throwing the code and it makes no sense.
