Default y80 or s80

I have both a 1994 y80 and a 1999 s80 Transmission. I would like to find a solid source of info on what the differences are between these two... and even how they might differ from a type r tranny. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive been here but they differ from what i have heard and read.
http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/variants.html I also grabbed this from an archived post but it states the s80 is a jdm itr tranny when my car is a 99gsr and holds the same one?

JDM 98 ITR Tranny / S80
1st. 3.230
2nd. 2.105
3rd. 1.458
4th. 1.034
5th. 0.787
Reverse 3.000
Final Drive 4.785

My '95 GSR 4-door has an S80. I don't think S80 vs. Y80 tells you what you want. GSR vs. ITR vs. other b-series depends on the gearing & LSD that's installed in the case. I think ITRs were marked LSD on the outside of the case??
