Default ITR IM on GSR Head..did seach..needs to be cleared up(fixed title)

I got a GSR head pretty much free, comlete except the IM. I've also found an SI intake manifold for 100$ complete. I'm almost sure the two won't bolt up. I did a search and found that somone mentioned that it is possilbe to mate the IM and the head with slight modifactions. but this person failed to mention what they were, besides saying just drill new holes.
does anybody know what exactly needs to be done?

thank you in advance

You need to have a piece of aluminum stock welded onto the IM where the heater hose goes. And hog the hole out to get the coolant to flow because the holes don't line up. Then have it resurfaced. Along with drilling out the bottom bolt holes I think (it's been awhile and I don't remember for sure if it was the top or bottom). I did this a few years ago with an ITR IM on a GSR before the Skunk piece came out. You might be better off looking for a used Skunk IM for cheap.
