Default Mugen Intake Box

Hello, I just bought an Rsx-s, and was wondering if anyone has installed the mugen intake box on their car? I'd like to know how it feels, power wise, and how it sounds. Sound clips would be nice. I did a search and came up with jack. So any help would be much appreciated.

You're not going to get much support for the Mugen airbox. It definitely feels better than stock. With the Mugen front bumper, you will get better results, since you'll get that ram air effect. Better throttle response. As for the sound, I can only describe it as a raw and mean sound than stock. I hope that helps you out alittle.

i think you need to head over to http://www.clubrsx.com to see if someone has it there, which i am sure they do.

i know this is not the answer your looking for, but if its just for jdm bling then get it, but if you looking for performance, remember this, its just a intake for a n/a car. your not going to see much differences in any intake you get, even a ebay one (haha). and for its 600 dollar price tag, it just doesnt add up.

Well, I'm just repeating information said in that Sport Car Revolution show on the Speed channel. They added basically all of the Mugen products on the RSX, including the airbox.

Regarding the ram air questions:

I expect it to have a ram air effect if they are going through wind tunnel testing. Surely they can find the high pressure/low pressure areas and design for the most efficient air intake placement. Now is the result huge? I have no idea and don't expect a lot of horsepower.

I have it. It's nice but not worth the money! Get the Comptech icebox.
