Default friends Del Sol gets new paint (not 56k friendly by any means) detailed process inside.

There are things I like about the car and many things I dislike but it is not my car. A good friend (Travis) sprayed the car and I'm trying to show his work which I find damn impressive for someone who is 19 and hasn't had much experience in his bodyshop compared to some others out there. Enjoy.

All paint, primer and clear used was House of Kolor. After having his mother and father both back into his car, Brian decided that maybe it was time to spray the thing. Enter Travis and his crazy paint skillz.
First a couple silver coats.

THen a little black...

Some Blue...

A little clear...

Nothing like some overspray and a good cloud going...

Some up close paint & clear pics...

Pre-WetSanding & missing stuff....

And the final product:

The End

Car used to be a white del sol s or something. Now is on a b20 + quaiffed jdm s1 cable tranny. Has misc. neat stuff like willwoods and progress full coilovers along with a certified cage. Turbo setup coming soon. Thanks for looking.

It's confusing the hell out of me. I mean it looks serious with the cage, the brakes, suspension, and the engine set-up but it's just soo damn riced out on the outside. I think he's a different kinda ricer. A new breed. Knows what works well but is clueless when it comes to looks.

Not really a great looking kit in my honest opinion, but if you like it then hey...

With all those track parts, hopefully he doesn't rip off that mad tizite body kit on the first off-track excursion.

And by the way, that cage may be "certified," but the improper harness installation isn't going to win any awards in a track day tech inspection.
