Default How bad is it to throw the e-brake on while sliding in the snow?

I was having a blast tonight in the empty parking lots during the snow. Anyways, am I doing any harm or damage to my car while I have fun?
Thanks

No harm at all on ice, or snow. Just don't hit a curb. I love ice/snow in one of those large parking lots early in the morning when everyone is asleep.

Of course, you should never use the ebrake under normal driving circumstances.

Tonight, I would drive 20-25-30 mph and then throw the wheel one way and pull up on the ol' e-brake. I could pull about a 270 but could never get all the way around.

watch out for parking curbs buried under the snow.

Just a little tip from someone who DIDN'T see one.

Yeah, watch out for them curbs....

****....!

SHIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!

*gruntch*

The other thing to be careful of is doing it too much...the first snowfall I got into a nice, unplowed lot and started e-brake turning like a ****. Tip: when you smell burning rubber, it's time to stop.

Dunno if its just coincidence... but I did that all day long last winter, and now everybody sez my ebrake is really loose. I never really noticed, mebbe its just a loose cable. Either way its fun Fun FUN! oh, and I got a little more than 360 spinning the fronts a lil past halfway into the spin.

Nah, no harm done unless you hit something. Living in Minnesota, all the roads are covered with ice half the year, so I actually use my e-brake to slide through turns quite a bit. Pullin 360's is fun, but I like to have my car under my controll as much as possible

haha, controlled drifting is always fun.. around here where I live it's always icey and we have had freezing rain for the last 8hrs and I work at a car dealership with about 1 square mile of empty parking lot where they keep the rigs.. they are just doing a sale and it's completely empty I think I am gonna see if I can go past a 540... today lol sheer ice should be fun.. let's pray I don't get stuck lol... also to who ever said stop when you smell burning rubber.. what is that b out haha something in the engine or tires?
