for the life of me i CANNOT GET OFF MY DECK!!! WTF how do u take a deck out of a civic? it's an aftermarket deck which i guess futureshop or some company installed with a mounting kit in my eg, i've taken off the ******* glove box, gauge cluster, EVERYTHING and i cannot get the deck out which is being held in by the mounting kit. if anyone can explain what to take out i would appreciate it.

 

2 butter knives down each side of the radio....
Slide them in then pull the radio out

wtf? there is no mounting kit for the EG. what brand is the deck? you might need special tools to remove it from the DIN cage (which holds the deck in the dash)
