Dear Friend,
Ladies and gentlemen….start your engines! And get ready to rally inLaughlin , NV as drivers from around the world compete in the 7th Annual Ramada Express Hotel Casino International Car Rally.
The action takes place Dec. 9 – 12. Spectator Admission to all the events is free!
You’ll see real cars, driving real fast, over real roads as they compete for the best time over rugged courses that take them to the rim of the Grand Canyon .
Meet the drivers and see technical inspections up close on Thurs. along with the Opening Ceremonies.
The competition starts on Fri. and the expo tent is open. “The Outback Angler,” Hobart Manns, will demonstrate outdoor cooking both Fri. and Sat. Manns is also an expert on appraising antique fishing gear.
There’s more action on Sat. as the second phase of the competition gets underway. Non-professional drivers get a chance to compete too in the Magellan Adventure Rally. The $450 entry fee includes a Magellan Meridian Gold GPS Receiver. To enter, go to http://www.rallyusa.com or call 702-298-8171.
New this year is the Speed Options International Car Show on Sat. from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The show features exotic, modified cars competing for show honors in several categories including Mazda, Acura, Toyota , Nissan, etc.
Want to experience rallying first hand? You can buy a rally ride in Sunday’s Superstage event for only $25 (must be 18 or older). Proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Colorado River and the American Heroes Foundation.
Chip collectors will want to add the Car Rally $5 gaming chip featuring the 2003 rally winner, driven by Rhys Millen and Chrissy Beavis. Chips are available starting Dec. 9 at the Cage.
