Default h22 swap questions.

normally when it comes to h22 swap questions, the response "search" is expected, so before posting this i spent the past few days doing just that.

however, im still confused on a few things. i am planning a swap, and want to make sure i have all my bases covered.

the h22 will be going into a del sol... i think i got some things straight but please correct me if i am wrong.

A)
the swap is the same as the eg hatch, more or less.
i plan on using the hasport mount kit in the swap.. its the best, right?

B)
i researched as much as possible, but i am still confused about the resistor box, and why it is needed. anyone care to shed some light on that?

C)
i can use the prelude OR accord shift linkage, correct? any how-to's for the install? do i need any extra pieces besides the shifter, the base, and the cables?

D)
what can i remove to clean up the bay... the black box thing under the manifold (not pcv) that is used for the 2nd butterfly.. .can **** like that be removed? what are the minimal vacume hoses needed?

E)
with a fullsize koyo/fluidyne radiator- what radiator hoses do i need to use? or should i go for the ghetto look and get the universal flexible kind?

The resistor box is needed for the type of injectors it uses, I suppose you could swap in standard 240 cc b series injectors and be okay until you upped the power considerably

the del sol is an eg

You can use a neoprene expansion plug appropriately sized ( they have them at ACE hardware ect

It also works to post in the Eg/Del Sol forum

I concur that the mounts will work fine.

What type Del Slow do you have? Please dont say you have a B16a

If you do i'll buy your engine
