95 accord lx timing belt and belt balancer changing help>
I have a 95 accord lx 4 cyc. I want to change the timing belt and the belt balancer, I have both the belts. Besides removing everything like protective panels, and the engine mount. Then the crank pulley, all I have to do is set the balancer belt to TDC and the cam pulleys to TDC and mark the belts, pull off carefully and replace. Should I worry about anything else, this is my first time working on this car, accords are kinda diffrent from my teg. Any info would help, thanks.
You will need to make sure the rear balancer shaft in the right position...theres is a 12mm bolt on the back of the engine behind the water pump that you must remove and insert a screw driver into to hold it in the right position.
If you havent already gotten a balancer seal retaining clip get one.
Also might want to replace balancer seal and main oil seal and water pump and cam seal.
