Default 2 Stupid questions (I should know this...but I dont)

I have a 88 civic HB DX model. I don't want to do much to the car, it's only my little beater car, but it is in bad need of exhaust work.

First question: Does the header from the D16 fit the D15 thereby removing the Catalytic converter?

Second Question: what has to be done to the DX wiring harness to accomodate an engine swap? (Pointing me to a link will suffice if this has been answered before - I couldn't find it) reason: I might toss in a d16y8 that I have access to.

thanks in advance

exhaust, i dunno

but you need dpfi->mpfi for that swap search for that, theres lots of info.

probably have to decide weather to run that obd0 or obd1 as well.

U have a DX or STD model? Either way, the D16 manifold will work.

I figured out when I went to Nopi.com that the Si exhaust manifold would fit the DX.

I would probably run OBD1 so the Ecu could control Vtec and have the proper fuel maps. I looked at Hybrid Honda for the pinouts and wiring info, but there isnt anything about D15 to D16 swaps...only B16 swaps.

Since this is a beater car, I dont want to sink mad $$$ into it. I have another "toy" car that gets most of my attention and $$$, but I'd like to do this swap because a 210,xxx mile D15 is um...how you say...painfully SLOW!
