hi... i got an Si stock front strut bar and i wanted to install it onto my 2000 civic sedan. the place where its supposed to be mounted is filled with im guessing a metal plate under the two holes where there are supposed to be screws? can any1 help me with the installation of this into my car? or does anybody know if itll even fit? ilookd my frnd's civic ex and his two holes where the front sway would fit are also plugged. help please!

 

It will fit. I had a stock 2000 Si front sway bar on my 96 Sedan. I guess I haven't seen what the 2000 sedans look like but I had to drill holes for the screws to go through. Is the plate you're talking about underneath in the wheel well?

 

o dang so i gotta drill 4 holes huh... wut size bolt? where does the sway attach to? just the body? if its just the body and not the strut will that even do me any good or give me an benefit of having it?

 

those places you're talkin about where the brace mounts on the Si's thats right, you have to step drill the holes and just get four bolts...simple really...

 

Drill, screw......what could be easier?
