Polishing my stainless header today, progress pics
Picked up this stainless DC 4-1 for free the other day, so I figured I'd polish it before installation. Here are the "before" pics and my progress so far. I'll have more pics up later as I get more done.
BTW, I'm following the procedure detailed by akumaracer in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=852379

this is what i was wondering.
i know all those marks are more or less burned in from oily hands/tools leaving marks. but if you were to sand the **** out of your header, and repolish it yourself, wouldnt the orgial stains be gone for good?
when i put my header on i was in the middle of my swap so i didnt care and rushed through it getting the header dirty and full of finger prints right before the initial burn in. i don't really care because i scored the header for fifty bucks but if those stains will stay gone for good, i will sand and repolish.

Gold I can deal with, but this time the header will be installed with latex gloves and have no purple oily fingerprints
