Default JDM Exhaust Flange Vs. USDM Exhaust Flange

Does anyone know if the jdm exhaust flange is different from the usdm exhaust flange? (the flange that connects the header to the cat, the triangle 3 bolt)

Also does anyone know where I can purchase a stainless usdm header flange?

Thanks

They are the same.

A muffler shop should have them. I believe kteller on this site sells them too. Try him.

Well I bought a used rsr header and it has the 3 bolt exhaust flange but the bolt pattern is not the same as the usdm exhaust flange. It looks just like the usdm 3 bolt triangle looking flange but the bolt pattern does not match.

So I am asking if this would have come out of a different car or something. Maybe an accord type r or ?? Or would the flange be different between a 4th and 5th gen?

The header came out of a jdm h22a1 front clip.

Well when I bought my JUN header a while back I couldnt find a place anywhere in GA that had the right flange for the cat to hook up to the header.

So I had to get a US 3 hole form a local place welded on both ends.

you cant find that flange anywhere....i remember one guy found one with a 2 inch inner diameter...thats it.....

what you can do is use an airdrill and a filing bit and go to town on that jdm flange....it will eventually fit up if you grind the bolt holes enough.....

the better option would be to cut both flanges off and just get 2 regular 2 or 3 bolt flanges welded in place....

Do you mean these?

Got the house flanges in last week for 2-1/2" prelude cats.

Stock flange on the right, if anyone didn't know

Anyway, that would be great if you can show the difference. If the stainless is an extra flange, will you sell it?
