Default Cold Air Intake

I'm questioning buying a Cold Air Intake System for my 92 Accord EX. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on whether this will really help the HP and sound of my car. Any help appreciated.

you should really use the search button first to research this.

you will gain a little bit of hp, but not much. it will change the sound, and its fun to listen to. the best ways to gain power are to boost your accord, nitrious, or do an engine swap.

this is very true, as it was mine....instalation is uber easy, though for a 4th gen, you have to use snips to enlargen the hole for the piping to fit through......your best bet is to go on ebay, and buy one, just for the piping and hose(s)....then go buy a K&N filter, or better yet, by an A'Pexi filter from the internet...slap that on, and youll be good to go

good luck

Good mod. You'll see a LITTLE HP but most of it is for better accelleration and it does help. Ebay piping + K&N filter or you paid too much.

Yea, Ebay intake was my first mod, but I still haven't put on the K&N filter.
