Skunk2 exhaust system?
i have a 96 honda civic cx h/b. i want to buy the skunk2 mega power exhaust sysytem. i heard that you have to custom piping to make it fit. is it true.
no it fits fine BUT DONT BUY IT...dont be like me i learned the hard way and auctually bought it sucks dude im dead serious...i mean the sound is nice and deep but its way to loud and i got pulled over almost everyday for it...also the resonator starts to rattle after like 2 weeks..i took mine of and just got an ES oval with 2.5 piping...i also have an RS*R Ex-Mag catback exhaust for a 96-00 hatch if your interested
i have a skunk2 catback on my b16 del sol. it sounds deep and mean, but make no mistake it is very loud. If the silencer isn't in right, it rattles at low rpms. when they say it's loud, it's for off-road use only.
overall i'm very happy, but i wish it was a little quieter for a daily driver.
edit: btw, i respect speed limits, don't have a riced out car - looks stock, never been pulled over in over a year.

Think about the EARDRUMS of pedestrians, other drivers and of course yourself. Spare them(+yourself) the torture of listening to the Skunk2's ridiculously loud, raspy exhaust note.

when my friend bought the skunk2 exhaust for his EK he had to buy some extension piece for it. kind of stupid considering it's suppose to be a complete cat-back system.
