Default Will the 2nd gen si crx eng. fit easy in the 1st gen crx si

like the title says i got a A6 sitting around at my house and a guy i work with has the 1st gen si would this be a easy swap for him.

It won't bolt right in, so that removes the label "Easy Swap" out of my book.

I don't know the particulars, but the nice gentlemen at RedPepperRacing have covered this I am sure --> All Relevant Info on the D16A6 In the first generation CRX.

I agree, only motor to bolt directly in will be the 86-89 Integra DOHC D16A1/ZC, depending if you are Vacuum advance 86-87 or Electronic 88-89. If you are going to the trouble of SOHC D16, I'd opt for a B16 or any other B series motor.
