Air Filters for ITB's ?
I am getting the ITG JC50-65 for my ITB's. They also sell blank base plates, that you can drill to fit your set up, and mount the foam filter to it.
check: http://www.itgfilters.com/ for more info...
Hope it helps.

For what its worth... I have heard that the oiled cotton/K&N style filters are not as efficient at filtering out the fine particles as the oiled foam filters are or even the paper elements.
For a race motor I bet the K&N's are fine, but for something that is going to see a ton of miles (like my car), I'll be putting an ITG filter on.
Not trying to get a big debate started, just relaying what I have heard...

Wouldn't using a plenum w/arm make tuning even more of a problem? It'd be like tuning 2 engines, or would the removal of the plenum at tracks not make much of a difference tuning wise?
back from the dead.......where did you purchase these from and what did they end up running you??? any links would be appreciated. thanks

they used something that looks like that and mounted it on their itbs i thought it was pretty ingenious.

those are hella clean looking. im curious on the price of those and where to get them too. wonder if they work for h series? looking for itbs right now...
Don't get individual filters.
You will create a more responsive lower end with more power by using a plate + plenum. Having the plate in front of the velocity stacks improves standing velocity...
You can make your own, or TODA makes one that bolts onto their ITB's.

have you dynoed it with open velocity stacks and then with the plate/plenum setup??? i will be running weber sidedrafts and i am just looking to get some filters that i can put on the end of my velocity stacks for daily driving. i might end up running some foam style filters from shifter carts or something like that. just wanted to see what he paid for those K&Ns, because usually they are in the $20-$30 range per single filter like that.
On a car, no. But there was a constant 4-6hp over individual filters from 2000rpms to 7000rpms, and about 3-4hp from 7000 to redline on a '02 Suzuki GSX-R 750.
anybody else out there want to share their filtration contraptions for their ITBs or carbs..............................somebody has to have more info!!!!
