chk light 58... i just replaced timing belt.... did search..
ok i just replaced me water pump, b/c thats what evryone suggested on honda-tech to do, and it work, i also replaced the timing belt.. i drove around alot last night without showing a check light, everything was fine, but this morning i drove around for about 10- mins and a check light showed, i flipped my toggle and it showed 58.. tdc sensor, do i need to adjust this sensor some how, is my timing off? what can i do to fix this problem, is it safe to drive on? please help me! i just want to get my car reliable.. oh, i just swapped a d-series... (y8) and changed almost everypart to new oem parts. thanks !
thats wierd, i didnt think civic had a tdc sensor. well hybrid garage says you dont...
i dont know what to tell you, see if its plugged in if you know where its at.
unplug your battery to reset your ecu, i always try that first.

58 is a V6 Accord code only. Make sure it's not 5 and 8 you are reading. If it really is 58, try a different ECU.
**edit** Civic's have a TDC sensor, it's code 8.
(5 is map sensor)

well i went to a p28 conversion... i have a z6 block with a y8 head... check 58, and the idle gets really weird some times, like it will bonce from 1k to 1.5 k please help
