reliable used parts source?
Either the classifieds forum here on Honda-tech or check your local salvage/junk yards.
EDIT: If you were closer to me, I'd suggest this place called Michaelsons Import Auto Salvage in South River, New Jersey (Central NJ). Maybe you can look them up and call them. Maybe they can ship parts to you. That's who I used.
That's what I did when I did my conversion. This should be one of your main deciding factors to see if it's worth it. Getting the necessary parts at a good price. The other deciding factor is getting the work done. Can you do it yourself or do you need a shop to do it for you? More often than not, shops charge quite a lot for this.
If you get cheap parts and can have the work done at a great price, this will be a great thing. If not....as most people will say, sell your car and buy one with a manual transmission.
In the end, I was very happy with my choice to do the conversion. Cost me about $1200 total. And I dropped a full second in my quarter mile time STOCK. Car also was much more fun to drive.
