timing cover???
I have a first gen jdm b16 in my 91 teg... need a timing cover so I can adgust the timing properly, anyone know where I can get one, well a timing cover work off of the 2nd gen b16 or what do I ask for when I call honda to get one???
Timing belt cover? If you have adjustable cam gears, and you want to adjust those, you don't need a timing belt cover at all. What you would need is a valve cover with cutouts that give access to the cam gears.

I already have a valve cover with the cut out so I can adjust the cam gears, but I changed the timing belt and in order to find top dead center you need to line op the nothc on the crank pulley with the pint on the timing cover
u can also find TDC by lining up the mark on the lower timing belt gear (not the cam gears) with the mark on the oil pump. and i wouldnt run my car without the lower timing belt cover. debri's can get into the engine bay and shread the timing belt up. get a cover before u take ur car out
just go to honda and ask them for a timing belt cover. if they have no cluse what u r talk n about, they will pull up a picture of all the motor parts that they have on there computer and then u show them which part u need.
honda sales people r really dumb. i went in to get a set of piston rings for my motor and the guy had no clue what i was talk n about. he said, "now where do those go, in the head?" i was like wtf? on the block retard. i had to find it for him on the computer

I pulled off the timing valve cover and the timing belt felt a little loose between the two cam gear
