Default welding aluminum

I just baught a new miller mig welder. Is it possible to weld aluminum witha a mig and if so what settings would you use to weld your basic aluminum for intake and turbo pieces.

sure it's possible and it's not as nice as tig, but it works. get a pull type/spool gun if you don't change your steel coiled liner. you can use the gun you got now and just put a nylon liner. use straight argon. dc-reverse polarity (+contact tip, -ground/work) and play with the settings on some scrap pipe and sheet of aluminum.

so you can just change out to a nylon liner and you will be able to switch wire back and forth to weld aluminum and steel with the MIG?

yeah it's just so it doesn't kink as easy. i don't see why you can't use steel wire through the nylon. you also want to keep the length as short as possible.
