96 Civic Body Kits?
I'm looking everywhere for body kits. I found a bomex kits for $520 saw the same kit for as much as $1100... Only thing is EVERY site shows a 2000 Civic and Its not too clear as too which bumpers and skirts you get. What brand would you guys go for?? I'm looking at spending $1k Shipped unless its really worth it to spend more for a great looking kit.
Another thing is, I need to replace the driver side fender... On ebay i see both fenders for about $120 plus shipping and theres a few different looks to choose from but Who knows how well they will fit and what kind of finish they will have. I dont ever see fenders made by "brand name" companies like bomex. A few wide body kits but I just want an OEM look or something simple like an M3 or Z3 fender. Where can i find such a thing?
Thanks a ton guys!!

Ok...i'll hold back.
Your best bet, get it all off of ebay. It's will be the best way for saving $. I have seen quite a few 96-00 civic body kits go for about 350-400 plus 100-150 shipping. Yes they arn't the best...but ...what body kit is. What does it matter, you want that look...there it is. They are all usually mix and match 4 piece body kits (front, rear, and side skirts) If the body kit says it will fit a 96,97,98,99, or 00 ...they will all pretty much match up. tell them if your car is a 2 dr,4dr,3 hatch. You might need to do little modifications to the bumper to get it to fit just right. If you know your wat around a car at all....I'm sure you can rig something to get it to sit flush and safely secured.
Try the classified section, you can probably find someone selling their old fenders from their old beaters/par out's. You could use the z3 ones off ebay....if you like. they should fit up, remember to stay within 96-00 year range. Oh, you might not be able to post in the classifieds yet, huh.
Do this, go t o the top of this page, look in the right corner, click on search. type in "f/s ek fenders" or "f/s civic fenders" if you dont get anything in recent, try using archived files. Just read the search page and you can figure it out. good luck. welcome to honda-tech.com
