Who's got Dyno #'s for the BLOX/WICKED Tuner Type-B/Stage-2 Cams??? Happy or Not Let's Hear It
Sup H-T
Like the topic says folks.
Who's got some Dyno #'s with the BLOX/WICKED Tuner Type-B/Stage-2 Cams?
Curious to see who is using them and how did they work out for you?
Happy
or Not
i would like to hear about your experience with them.
I purchased me a set from AN-R but my motor (LS/VTEC) is in it's build up stage right now so looking to hear some feedback on the user's?
From what i kow Jeff @Import Builder's has made 250+WHP with these cams several times and has made 10-WHP over SKUNK-2 Stage-3's on one of his build up's and AN-R says they are capable of 250 WHP.
But Hey.........Every motor is different so looking to see who's rockin them
PEACE

I also have a set of wicked stage2s sitting in my room, along with the 85mm ib wisecos....can't wait to have the motor done
good luck
good luck
I wouldn't consider them same as skunk stage-2's.
I would say improved skunk stage-2's.
Cause I talked to some local peeps and they make more than the s2s2's.
Jeff@Import Builders has dynoed several motors with these and has beat out the s2s2's and even the s2s3's with a whopping 10whp over them.
I say that's damn good right there!

Good **** on the IB 85's!
That is exactly what I got my eyes set on!
Some IB-Spec/Wiseco 85-MM 91-Octane pistons for my block! =D
Can't wait to get them bad boys
I was going to just do it up 1.8L with some IB-Spec/Wiseco 81.5-MM 11.9 CR pistons but with the way the all motor set ups are going these days imma need to bump it up to 2.0L to make the power.
Not that 1.8's can't but just need to keep them K-series away.
LOL

i would consider them the same identically. Why would u say they are different. I can say ive never seen them, but from what i hear (from H-T, and others) they are the exact cam.

I say they are different cause of specs......
Blox/Wicked Type-B/Stage-2's
Intake Cam:
LIFT= 12.1158-MM
DURARTION= 257
Exhaust Cam:
LIFT= 11.8364
DURATION= 254
SKUNK-2 Stage-2's
Intake Cam:
LIFT= 12.3-MM
DURATION= 266
Exhaust Cam:
LIFT= 11.8-MM
DURATION: 262
So as u can see it's not the exact same cams.

I know what ya mean bro
**** always floats around like that.
For example the blox and skunk intake manifold for gsr head's.
Everyone says they are the same exact thing but its not.
Go to wicked-industries.com and go check out the intake manifold in there.
At the bottom of the page there is a link so u can see the difference in the intake manifolds
From a quick glance they look similar but when looked closely its not.
Not to ramble on but that's just a point I wanna make about people saying its the EXACT SAME THING when its not
LOL
So as far as the cams go they are NOT THE SAME EXACT thing!
Hahahaha
That's why I just talk to the people who actually know about these products and know the difference between them when comes time to pay for the product.
NOW LETS SEE SOME Dyno #'s from u guys!

Wickeds are the same as skunks. Dont beleive the Silly #'s on the net.. SAME CAM.. I'll say it again SAME CAM.. Jeffs cams are the SAME CAM.. I can tell you a few others that are the SAME CAM ..
And Jeff made 10whp over skunk satge 3's is just 1 situaton because my stage 3's made more than the skunk stage 2's ..

Well im not here to argue cause i know u got hands on with alot of cams but i can see u meaning they might be similar but the specs show that it's not the SAME CAM.
If it's the same cam then why are people making more power over the skunk's?

Unless your dynoing cams that close in specs on the same exact day within hours of each other then there isnt a comparison to be made.. When Jeff says he made 10 whp over skunk3 with them he's actually saying he made 10 over skunk stage 2's which he's been saying for over a year now..
I just dont want to see everyone with skunks go out and buy blox to get the same cam man.

Okay well lets back track..........
On your 1st post u said that Jeff had only one situation where the Blox/Wicked's made 10whp over the skunk stage 3's and your Skunk stage 3's made more than the Skunk stage 2's right?
But on your other reply now your saying that when Jeff said he made that 10whp gain over the skunk stage 3's he's meaning the skunk stage 2's it still shows that the Blox/Wicked stage 2's cams make the power over skunk stage 2's hands down.
And that's the difference I'm rambling about.
The blox/wicked stage 2's vs the skunk stage 2's.
Even if it was just 1 situation it made more than the skunk stage 3's that is a pretty serious gain over the Stage 3's and considering that u are saying the blox/wicked stage-2's are the SAME CAM as the skunk stage 2's wouldn't u say that the blox/wicked cams are a better cam reguardless?
Maybe we need Jeff on here to clear this Blox/Wicked vs Skunk cam difference he tested.
I mean if you were out on the market to buy a set of cams and had your eyes set on Skunk stage-2's or Blox/Wicked Stage 2's I'm sure the buyer would go with what performs better right?
And again T-Bone I'm NOT trying to make this an argument issue about this and be in bad terms with anyone cause that's not how I am.
All I'm simply trying to point out that "SPEC WISE" show that both company's stage 2's are not the same cam.
I mean if the specs were dead on same lift, same duration then I would agree its the same cam.
But from the specs on them its different.
Would u happen to know anyone who has tested the skunk stage 2's vs the blox/wicked stage 2's?
I would like to see that.

This has been my understanding all along, SAME CAM. All of the new mass produced cams on the market are coming from the same place, and are tehy same specs. A possibility of the cam having different specs could be just for patent reasons. But eveyone in the know has said that they are the same cams, and thats the train of thought im sticking with.

No when Jeff says he made 10whp with wicked/blox over the skunk stage 3's.. The test was done with skunk stage 2's but he's telling people it was with wicked/blox because its the same cam... Jeff never tested the wicked blox up against the skunk stage 3's
He tested the stage 2's against the stage 3's and since the stage 2's are the same as wicked he's just swapping the names... I was told this directly from his mouth..
and I told you to not beleive the advertised #'s any way because if you degree a set of cams you will see that 99% of the time the #'s they give are wrong.
