K i heard a couple of people say that all 92 civic hatches came with a vtec wiring harness alredy is this true even thought i don't find that 2 easy 2 believe just wanna make sure

yesh its true. its prewired for vtec

if u want to know for sure, just check ur harness to see does it has A4 and D6

You can check the top most plug on your passenger side shock tower harness. Look at the side of the plug that faces the firewall. If every slot on that side is taken up by a wire, then your "Main Harness" is pre-wired for vtec & all the goodies that are required.

The vtec prewire doesn't apply to your Engine harness. In theory you could just drop a USDM vtec d16z6 right in and as long as it came w/ the d16z6 engine harness, it would be plug & play. When your dealing w/ B or H series motors. Those ECU's will be looking for a knock sensor (all dohc vtec), IAB's (GSR or H22), and EGR (H22). In those cases, you must add those wires to your ECU plugs.
