1988 crx dx is almost ready for paint...i did most of the prep...now i need ot decide on a color. im lookin for sumthin not to crzy but it needs to be hot...so basically anything that is not rice and by rice i mean i dont want my car to scream "HEY PULL ME OVER IM A RICER" to a cop...anyone hav any suggestions...if u hav a car with the color on it feel free to post up a pic...i need help badly...thanx

I personally like the sleeper look. I think a dark shade of silver is pretty lay low. I also like single shade colors such as black and white. maybe what you can do, is look at your other details such as rims and interior and choose a color that can complement those colors.

Black is hot after letting the car sit in the sun, but I'm guessing that's not how you meant it.

I like a white or silver car, but it's certainly easier to keep a color similar to whatever the car was originally. A dark navy non-metallic blue would look good too.

well i cant go by rims or interior considering its a project and rite now its gutted on steels...but your right it is my choice just want to see what other people think...im thinking flat black for sum reason or a nice red or a charcoal gray...keep up the suggestions tho and when i finally get it painted ill include sum pics
