Default strait pipe 900RR

about 1/2 hour ago i was in my garage dreaming about riding my bike, which i cant right now because its about 30 deg and the road has about 1/32" of snow on it. its only a light dust so maby by tomorrow afternoon the road will be dry. i was looking at the pipe thinking, "hmm, i wonder what it would sound like with no muff?" i have a 99' CBR900RR w/ a D&D pipe.
so i commenced the removal of the three Allens, 5 min later it was off... i started it up and all i can say is OMFG!!! i bit too loud for the street but damn i wish. It sounded kinda like a throaty V8, i called a friend and he said, "is that a Camaro?" i only reved it to about 2K but imagine it at 11. I know that strait pipe is generally bad for anything but race but the muff is a strait through so it couldn't be much different.

anyway i strongly recommend that after reading this, everyone should got open their tool box and go remove their muff to listen to the sounds of heaven. you know how they have those thingys that play the sound of the ocean to help you relax? well i want to record this put it on a CD and set it on repeat. imagine what a high reving 600 would sound like... oh so beautiful

Dont do it. Bad to run a motor with no pipe.
Its cool for about a minute, then its just annoying.

arjusmc was referring to his SV, which is a twin, so it might sound somewhat similar to the Harley sound.
