another headlight thread
Ill get right to it. A while back, I bought the $120 black housing "projectors" off ebay pictured below:

The LEDs in the Angeleye rings were flickering and out within a month. I was a little ticked off but the LEDs cant be replaced so whatever. I was recently hit (and run) in a parking lot and now Im once again looking at new headlights. At one point I went to buy the sylvania silverstars for the projectors but they werent compatible. My question to you is, what should I buy now. I know there are relatively new projector styles out by TYC and I dont want to buy the same projectors and have my LEDs flicker and die within a week. Im leaning towards buying JDM black housing headlights and then puting silverstar bulbs in them. I assume the silverstars would fit in that type of JDM stock replica. Heres what Im looking at:

Yes. The housing is no different from the stock; except that it's black and doesn't have the amber line at the bottom. Thus, 9006 for low beam and 9005 for high beam.
