Since it seems like everyone is a photographer these days. I was just wondering where you all get your prints at? I am tired of having a hard drive filled with really nice photo I have taken and just wanted physical prints. I think getting a really nice printer & doing it yourself is kinda watesful ink, paper & all. So I am opting to get prints from a website. Please post your experiences!!
canon ip5000 ** $175 **
best bang for the buck printer out there imo
photo printing
8.5x11 borderless prints
4x6 borderless prints
duplex printing
very fast imo
inks are cheap, far cheaper then epson or hp
also replaces your regular printer for documents and what not
I have printed a ton of pics with this printer. I don't have anything bad to say about it, except that the included software could be better. But for the price, its an amazing printer.

roaringturtle, roughly how much does paper cost each print? i have considered getting a nice printer like that canon, but still am torn with the cheap price of prints at wal-mart/sam's.

I really wasn't looking into investing in a photo printer, but more of a website like winkflash to t=do the printing, but I'll consider the printer. Thanks!

Well so far I have heard great things about winkflash. The prices are good 16cents each plus one dollar for each order. Thats a really good deal considering others who charge you 12 cents but kill you on the shipping....
http://www.shutterfly.com i think its like 24cents a print

not sure the cost
but I do know that canon is the cheapest, ink wise
paper varies, depending on if you buy it on sale and what not
but thats the most expensive part, the paper
great thing about canon, is its very good at managing the ink
and when you run out of, say cyan, you dont have to replace all the cartridges, just one

good question
I have a nikon d70
basically that pic of the camera connected to the printer shows pictbridge compatibility
as long as the camera supports pictbridge, it can print photos directly from the camera
