Default Integra JDM Front End HID or No HID....? WOrth the extra Money?

I dont know what to do. I want HID but tis 2400 for that and Non is 1800. Is it worth it to get HID? I could also just buy HID bulbs for my NON HID if I did that.

Any suggestions?

THanks

hids are the ****.. but don't pay that much. it's simple to get them out of another car.. maybe find a wrecked one at a junk yard. got mine from a 350z

and it's not just hid bulbs.. you need the little amps too.

they all say once you have hid's you'll never go back to halogens. if the money is a big issue to you, buy the non-hid's to save money, and either retrofit some hid's in there (under $400, plus labor) or buy an hid kit from a site like xenondepot.com (under $470)

You get more "Style Points" with HID, I have the non-HID and I'm waiting for a retrofit HID deal on H-T

well to save you some more money... hmotorsonline.com sells front ends..
i think 1650 for non-HID and 2250 for HIDs..and since they are located in so cali..you can just go pick it up and save yourself shipping

You wont have those ugly lines blocking your low beams.

HID kit is the way to go. No need for highbeams anymore, they are safer, and they flat out just look good. Just flat black your car until you can afford the new paint

I actually have a few set of jdm headlights.

SiR-G chrome housing
95 spec Type-R black housing
98 spec Type-R HID black housing

Personally I like the HID. What other people have said more style points. But make thieves want it even more.

I was reading HIDforums awhile back and they said those eBay kits are pure crap. They market them as phillips bulbs, but they are no where near the quality of true phillips HID harware. Supposedly, their bulbs are crappy and blow out fast, same goes for the ballast. So I'd say stay away from those shady eBay kits, you never know what you're getting when they sell in bulk.
