Default questions about intake manifold & throttle body for gsr

my set-up: jdm b18c (obd1) wired obd2 jdm p72 ecu
mods: sri, header, high flow cat, cat back, fpr, str rail, 255lph pump, vafc

1. I'm considering getting the Skunk2 mani, but I've researched & found that I'd need an ITR throttle cable/bracket & that my p72 ecu isn't the best match for the skunk2. actually i've heard that the usdm gsr ecu would be better for my motor than the jdm ecu i have now. is the p28 a better choice or what?? i'd also like to know if my sri would still fit correctly.

2. whats the deal with throttle bodies?.. which is the best for my set up (size/brand), and how are the gains? i know gains wouldn't be better than a single stage manifold, but this is my daily driver & i don't plan to do many more mods.

any help would be appreciated

From what I am told, the ITR throttle cable bracket and pulley are not necessary at all, its more of an appearance type thing (can't remember exactly). The p72 would not be the best choice for an ecu since the S2 IM has no secondaries to activate, and there would be a deadspot in your powerband at 5700 (when secondaries are set to activate). The P28 would be a slightly better choice, as you can have it programmed to open the secondaries, but then there's something about them not being wired for knock sensors or some such.
Since you are already set up for obd1, I'd go for the chipped P28, and S2 im, and some cams.
To a point, a larger bore throttle body will provide better throttle response and slightly more power, especially when portmatched to the IM. If you're getting an S2 IM, I believe that the ITR TB is a perfect match for the S2 IM at 62mm.
