Default GSR Insurance?

I'm thinking about selling my 94 Civic Ex and picking up a GSR when I'm down in FL for spring break. Only thing I'd be worried about is the insurance. Anyone got any ideas what it would run? I'd still be under my parents, no tickets, and good student discount. Thanks.

It's going to be more than the EX....but rates can vary greatly by location.

I'm under my parents name with a few discounts, 1 ticket but I don't think insurance knows/cares about it cause it was bullshit. Its like $250 a month for full coverage. I'm 18. Alarm dropped it by $20 every 6 months...

All thats with a $1000 deductable. I guess I'll continue to get assraped on insurance until I turn 25.

Safe Co.

Its lower insurance because it helps prevent theif. And with our cars theft is very common.

Dude, why don't you just call your agent and ask. No one on HT is going to know what your rates will be.

I've got my own policy thru 21st Century Auto Insurance and they're charging me $777 per 6 mo. No tickets or accidents and that includes discount for Lojack. Got full coverage and it seems to be identical to AAA at half the cost (I got quotes from other places too and 21st Cen. was by far the best). Hope that helps.

I'm turning 25 soon, and I'll be paying like $1900 cdn per year (like $158 per month) on my 98 GSR, clean record and all with a $300/$300 deductible. That's like $30 US or something...hehe. I'm looking at a $700 drop from $2600. Giddy up to the 25 years rule.

I think mine is like 175 a month for full coverage on my 99 GS-R and liability on my 1990 convertible mustang (built 5.0). I'm 21, 0 tickets, 0 accidents (knock on wood) and I'm in north Georgia.
