i have jdm gsr motor and i'm going to get some new ngk spark plugs. i have the complete msd sci ignition kit.

what gap should i set my spark plugs at? stock gap is .044

 

A bigger spark plug gap means more power but there is a certain point you can gap to before you lose efficiency of the spark, I would just say gap them @ 0.40 and see how it runs, then if you want go bigger gap but for driving on the street you really dont need to worry about gapping bigger to make power, your not going to be able to tell a difference.

Buy NGK BKR7E-N-11 and leave them alone :-)

 

you would still need to gap them. Id just go with the stock gap measurment.

 

are the 7e's the stock heat range or one degree colder?

7 is colder, stock for factory hondas are usually 5-6. I use NGK BKR7E-11s, they are cheap too.

 

so the 7's are one heat range colder....could i use a 55-60 shot of zex on these plugs? would i be okay using these spark plugs?

 

The rule is - for every 50HP shot of nitrous, or 8lbs boost, go to one step colder. So yes, 7's would work fine.

Hard to find for a good price sometimes though. Spark Plugs . com sells them for $2.24 each, but expensive shipping.
