Hey all,

Well, I have an issue here. I am not sure if the place where I bought my Carsound cat from welded the flanges on for a VTEC Prelude or what but my exhaust is being pushed out the back of the rear bumper. In fact, one exhaust mount is being pushed so far towards the rear of the car that it falls out of the rubber exhaust hanger.

I was hoping to see if maybe a 5th Gen Base or Type SH might be shorter than the 4th Gen VTEC downpipe so that if I buy an aftermarket header, I can choose the beat fitting one.

Anyone know the differences in length comparing the 5th Gen Base, Type SH, and 4th Gen VTEC?? I am looking for one that is 3-4" shorter than the 4th gen VTEC downpipe.
