wiring on a crx with ls motor?????
ok i just put a 96 ls motor into my 91 crx si and im confused about the wiring. It came with a obd0 harness that came from a b16 that used to be in there. The crx is obd0 and the motor is obd2. We are making it obd1. What kind of harness and ecu will i need to do this? Ive heard i can use the obd0 b16 harness and just plug it up to the obd2 ls motor? If i do this do i have to make the alternator and distributor obd0? Anyone who has done this swap i would appreciate your help because me and my friend are confused about the wiring
OBD1 conversion list:
JK obd0-1 Conversion harness
OBD1 Distributor (you can use the OBD2 if you have it though)
4 wire o2 sensor
OBD1 PR4 ecu
You'll have to use the obd0 alternator due to the plug (I think they are different). You will use your OBD0 harness and there will be a couple of plugs left unplugged on the motor (one on the oil pump). You will also have to make an adapter harness for your distributor(very easy, color for color). You'll probably have more questions so, feel free to ask if I have left something out.
