Default Custom Exhaust

Im looking for some custom exhaust and to be honest I have no clue what I am looking for. Basically all I can do is give a detailed description of what im going for.
I need something non-rice no loud pops and I need the exhaust wide very wide I want a big pipe for the back I want it to look decent and unchromed. I have no idea what size and such I will need. Please post and feel free to make any suggestions thanks!

I looked into this a while back. There isn't really a reason you need to go custom exhaust. Just look for an aftermarket exhaust, they work well, they are, in fact, designed for your car(assuming you buy the right one). If you do't want a chromed tip, dont' buy one. If you don't want a loud exhaust, you don't want wide pipes(as you said you did), or you'll have to get a high flow muffler.

you dont really need anything bigger than 2.5 unless you're going turbo...id just get a bolt on aftermarket if i were you.....in my old car i did the whole custom exhaust thing and it was really loud and it just kinda sucked.

2.5 could even be too big for him. if he has an ls and he won't be doing a whole lot of work to the motor, he should be ok with 60mm(2.36") or even 2.25", or 3" if your sn reflects your setup. it would also help if we knew if you had an LS or GSR.

the point of making a custom exhaust is for the price. why spend $500 when you can get one just as good for $250? get your piping, pick a muffler you like, add a resonator, and call it a day. nothin wrong with that at all.

yup....have you picked out a shop to do it? if so, maybe you should listen to some of the exhaust that theyve done on other hondas and just decide from there.

yes, many people with custom exhausts don't use a resonator and its very loud and crappy sounding (imo). if you use a resonator, its not so bad. if you use two, it'll prob sound stock.
