I'm in the market for an integ. I want a 94-95. My question is which integ model should I buy? The LS or the GSR. Help me out guys, I don't know much about Hondas and Acuras. I'm coming from Nissan.

well.. i have and LS.. love it .. boosted it.. and loved it even more.. now that i'm doing a new turbo i desided to build a GSR(gsr motor w/ LS crank) i say think bout what u wana do first.. as in mods.. show or go.. i'm sure everybody has there nitch once they first get in a new car. in my dealings w/ tegs i just find that GSR's will cost alot more than an LS and most times u can find a good GSR block to start messing with... GSR - Leather, vtec,.... LS.. well none of that..

oh and where do you live? cause there's a good chance a GSR will get stolen...

Way to be a total **** and avoid his question The LS is cheaper and slower, and has the lower redline, but can be boosted using the money you would have spent on a Gsr. The Gsr is a little bit more expensive, but it has a vtec motor, and pumps out more ponies stock, so your gonna have a little bit more fun the day you buy it. You can get a Gsr off of autotrader for $6500+

I have a GSR for sale which I recently decided and you seem sorta local to me. Are you interested?

thanks for the input guys... I left out that I want to stay all motor. This is going to be my mon-fri car. I have a 350z twin turbo, so I don't want boost on this car. I have ditched 240s for now because there are soooo may noobs jumping onto the drifting band wagon. I've never owned a honda/acura. So now seems like a good time to own one.

I have been looking into doing the LS with Vtec head. But can anyone tell me the difference between the b16 head and gsrhead? Thanks

LS then swap in a b18c. Your insurance will be lower because your title says its an LS.

Just go with an LS because it will be cheaper for you in the long run.

well...for turbo setup i definately prefer the ls setup, but if you're gonna go n/a get the gsr for sure.

What does having a g/f (girlfriend, I presume) have to do with anything?

 

get the ls and do ls/vtec

 

this needs to get locked...

LS = lower insurance and less theft appeal...(ppl like running turbo on the b18b), takes lower octane fuel

gs-r = more hp stock, vtec
