You are looking at a 97 GSR block that has been sleeved and rebuilt by Dan Benson himself. This is a legit block which I bought from the original owner (close friend of mine) of the car from which it came from. I'll provide the buyer with the paperwork just for piece of mind. Please feel free to run the VIN# if it makes you feel any better.

Benson's machine shop just recently rehoned, resurfaced, and pressure tested the block so everything should be problem-free and in excellent condition. All of the rod and main bearings were also replaced with brand new ACL's. The pistons and rods have about 2000 miles on them but were cleaned and checked over so this is pretty much a fresh build. Earl Laskey did the original build has been involved throughout the whole process so he'll be able to vouch for the build quality. The only thing you're going to need is a new oil pan gasket. Otherwise the block is a 99% complete shortblock.
