You will be able to dump it if you want. When people say they cant lower the car that much, its because they are lowereing it like they would if they were using GCs or Skunk2 coilovers. These omnis use that similar design to handle the preloading of the spring ONLY. DO NOT lower the car from these collars and you should be able to dump it real low. You lower it by using the very bottom collar and twisting the shock body itself. Again, DO NOT lower the car using the upper two collars.

lots of ppl say not to dump because "its not good handling" but....

sometimes ur feeling the slammed look. am pretty sure that omni will drop it 4". It may not be the best for handling but hey looks dope.

alot of ppl get mixed up when lowering omni coilovers, they use to the skunk2/gc sleeve style coils.

at least with the omnis, when u drop it all the way down.. u still have full shock travel provided that your upper a-arms dont hit the underside of the shock towers.

He is right.. I have some pictures to explain a bit more.

The GOLD bottom perch is the thing that moves.. It can also be swapped front to back, so you can put the heavier rate in the back

this most likely set your car @higher than stock

This would lower your vehicle~3" or so

i was gonna order from kteller also. It seems like a very good deal since other places are selling the omnis for 650 alone. Kteller's site states that the lcas retail at 120.

what function motoring was saying is true. your only supposed to drop by the lower perch area, but it some wierd cases (mine), you must use SOME (meaning only 1/8th an inch) of the spring preloaded area to fully drop your car. I did the whole lower perch thing ALL THE WAY, till i ran out of threading and the shock bottom was hitting the a-arm ALMOST. I emailed omni, and they never got back to me, so i just decided to lower it using the normal way for skunks or gc's.

the ride is fine, and i dont think they (the shocks) will bottom out since they are short travel. I along with my others (so it seems by reading on here) have this wierd problem. I dunno why the back coilovers have sooo much room (meaning threading and length) to be dropped another 2 inches probably from what i have mine set at, and the fronts are maxxed out using the bottom lowering technique, and some of the top way.

doesnt make sense. none-the-lesss, they dont bottom out, and handle very very well which is what they were intented to do for a good price.

If you dump the car and then correct out the camber you will have the tire rubbing the fender, if you don't you are losing considerable straight line traction and tire life

I would not buy omnis since they are psuedo racer crap no claim they have on there site has been proven by any proven test measure, the springs are junk and have about the same rate retention as Tiens do. But if you would rather your car fell like that everyday go for it.

Kteller=

Mike is a friend of mine, the deal he's got going w/the LCA's is excellent. We also carry the omni's here but we don't have a package deal w/the LCA..... just the sets themselves. He's only running the deal through dec. so I'd get them now.

Kteller is one of the best vendors on HT.. buy w/confidence
