Default First time at the Dyno with the car (baseline no tuning done)

Well I went to the dyno last friday night and was hoping for a little better numbers but all in all I'm happy was trying to post the pic but my scanner isn't working.
Numbers were:

183whp and 126wtq

Mods consist of
AEM CAI
Hytech ITR Header
punched 2.5" cat
2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust to an ITR muffler
power steering belt removed
ACT 6 puck unsprung with heavy duty pressure plate
Def-Con Racing 8lb flywheel(not that the clutch or flywheel do anything on a dyno)

there was no tuning involved at all just a baseline run. This is on a Type R.

The thing that just shows how inaccurate a dyno is though is that the week before a buddy of mine went to the SAME dyno and put down 177whp and 130wtrq and then he dyno'd the same day as I did when I went and he put down 166whp and 122wtrq.

Nothing was changed in his setup and the temp was similar to the day he went a week before.

The numbers were done on a dynojet and are SAE corrected

can't wait till next season to get some tuning mods and get some tuning done

let me know what you think.

are you running a stock computer ? fueling should be a issue if so.

Yes I am running a stock computer. You think lack of fuel is holding me back or too much???

ive heard just by installing the hytech header alone will require additional fuel to see actual gains

I have heard the same thing just wasn't sure how true it was.

I have a VAFC2 in my room, I know I should get Hondata or a real standalone but it was a gift and so I'll install it after my car comes out of storage along with some cam gears and get it tuned.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated

not bad at all... considering you are running a stock ITR muff.

I tunned a usdm itr today with Mugen intake/exhaust and jdm 4-1 header and a vafc 2.
I had to pull alot of fuel from 6800 up like 4clicks all the way to 7clicks up till 8500, I had to add from 3000 to 6500 about 4 clicks.
I think we ended up with 175 whp 123.

Thanks guys....hopefully when done tuning I'll be in the low 190's whp and 130-132wtrq. Then again I will sacrifice some top power for amazing midrange.

The torque does look a little low... tune it!
