not worried about it being a race car or anything. it is a 4 door so just trying to get some power out of it to get it going. Dont want to do turbo because its not as reliable
supercharger on a ls...... don't know if it's a great idea...i have talked to a few people who have seen the LS supercharged and were not impressed what so ever....the GSR is a different story because the blower on the kit for the LS is a lot smaller than the blower for the GSR kit....a buddy and I were curious to know if somehow we would get better results somehow fitting the bigger blower on the LS......

I thought of this a few years back and for the same price you can turbo your car! A Jackson Racing is only $1999 and a Vortech is $3400!

i dont know I have seen SC LS's have from 220 whp to 290 whp! Jackson Racing is not a good choice, most of their kits only give a 50 whp gain leaving you in the 170-180 whp range! And in that case you could just go all motor and get those numbers. Procharger or Vortech is a better choice!

You really have to look at a few aspects when you pick a supercharger. People dont' like Jackson racing so much because the Roots type blower can produce some mean unwanted heat. It produces the best response and it's the most convienient kit to have and install.
Vortech and Procharger use a centrifigul supercharger, similar to a turbocharger but powered by your belts. You don't get great on-reponse like a roots, but it gives good power when spooled.
Do some research on what you want to get. They all got their own flaws.
