Default Time to start a poll about T1R Exhaust Systems

Alright well i did a search and read post after post about the T1R Exhaust system.
Rattles, Fitting, etc.... it's coming close to Christmas and i need to tell my parents what exhaust i want. I really like the T1R exhaust but from all the post i am not sure anymore.

Basically it comes down to whether or not i should get the system or find another one. If yes, should i buy it from http://www.ipsracing.com/ or http://www.aj-racing.com/.

BTW i have on my car is, Comptech ICE box, DC Sports JDM 4-1, and a test pipe (sitting in the closet awaiting the exhaust)

Thanks

Either company is great to deal with. Its gonna be 50/50 because both companies have a VERY good vouch.

first off, AJR, IPS, and RandD are all reputable shops. i have done business with all of them and i couldn't be more satisfied. however, i think the answer lies with your location. AJR is in vancouver, Canada, westcoast. if you're on the east coast, i'd suggest RandD or IPS.

The funny thing is that A&J supplies the T1R parts to the other two.

Whichever one has them in stock and has the decent price of the day is the way I'd go. They're all very reputable and very interested in our community.

he was joking. not voting is more than obvious the choice for people who have not purchased from either of the companies.

Haha, yeah, that works too...only reason i mentioned dave is because he's the guy i dealt with and first contacted. I ended up picking up a full system, header, testpipe and catback

IPS

gets my vote. took abit longer than expected to get it, but it came with no problems, Mike took extra care not to sent me a damaged one, since AJ guys had terrible packing and a few of them that came in were smashed up.

Anyway, you can't go wrong with Mike from IPS

only thing though.... anticipate longer wait if it is not is stock.

That's true. I rock the T1R and have had no problems what so ever. I would recommend it. I did buy mine from A&J and they gave me a great price. They are a great bunch of guys and great to deal with.

AJ, IPS, R&D... if one of them has it in stock, there ya go. I love mine. No fitment issues, nice welds, butt dyno says great power. Plus it's not so loud your ears bleed.

i live very close to opak, (spoon u.s distrib.) and they were saying that the T1R syste, is a rip off of spoon, and its not even made in japan, its made in taiwan. i got a spoon street type tail silencer and im gonna get the full system soon. i would recomend it, a little pricy but well worth it.
