anybody's help
the gs-r and LS headers are a different length, so the exhaust will be different, too. it's about 4" difference. if you have a welder, or a friend with one, you can quickly match the exhaust from the wrong car onto yours.
well here is the deal. i bought an Apex-i N1 from a friend that has a GSR and i have the LS. being my daily driver and working about 50 hours a week leaves me next to no time to screw around with my car. so i was hoping that someone would have actual measurements. i am making a "mini-test-pipe". i really dont even know what to call it. but basically instead of hackin at my N1 and then the rest of the stock pipes .. im making an adapter with 2 flanges and the extension pipe. that way when i get a GSR or want to sell it. its not all hacked up and will fit an LS or GSR.
so everyone agrees on 4"? give or take a wee bit ...
thanks guys

yes, it is 4", give or take a tiny tiny bit, but i forget which car's exhaust is longer. one car just has a header that is 4" longer than the other, and its exhaust is 4" shorter. bring it in to an exhaust shop and they can do it up for you pretty darn quick and for only a little scratch (certainly < $50!), or get a buddy to do it up for you (pm me if you're in FL) or just get a header from a gs-r, then it will match up to the gs-r exhaust.
that is exactly what i wanted to know. ..... will a GSR header bolt right up to my 95 LS? if so then no major modifications are needed. but i think for now i will just make a small 4" extension for the difference. i dont have the cash to fork out for a header right now.
