B-series valve cover material?

as topic says, what is the material of the valve cover? is it aluminum?

Yes they are aluminum.

****.. of course the paint thinner i bought works on every material known to man... except aluminum. lol my luck

if you want to remove the paint, go to the auto parts store and buy 'aircraft stripper', its safe on metals, especially aluminum. just be careful when working with it, it burns the skin

sweet thanks a lot man. i went to a hardware store to ask what would be the best.. and he gave me this stuff, i think its called zap? leave it to me to not read it untill i get home heh.
