B16A2 into 94 integra ls
did a search didnt really come up with any solid answers
ok i know you guys are all going to say why put a b16A2 into a teg..... well i happen to have a b16A2 lying around in my garage and it also has some work done to it so i know it will be faster than my ls..... and no i dont want to hassle with a ls/vtec swap... so thats not an option either..... now my question is what mounts and shif linkages do i need to use to be able to drop that b16 into my teg???? do i use the 99-00 si mounts and linkages that are on the motor now (which is where the motor came from a 99-00 si) or do i use the mounts and linkages from the b18. if anyone knows the answer to this question let me know thanks...
im thinkin i use the teg mounts but not really sure yet

I have the exact same set up in my car. I know the axles were from an SI. If I remember right we used the LS motor mounts, and SI linkages..... I'll double check that for you!
great that would be awsome..... i figured you would just use the stock ls mounts i just havent been able to find anything out about it anywhere.... thank you again
It wouldn't be a hassle, unless your talkin about insatlling it your self. All you would need is the crank, block and a few small other things from the ls. BTW, B16a2 is a SI-R not an SI. As to the mounts and axles you would need SI axles and costom mounts.
you dont need custom mounts, use the mounts of you ls motor, take them off the ls and bolt them onto the b16, use the b16 shift linkage, dont listen to these kids, there just spitting out **** that they have read on the net

no they dont, iv had nothing but ff car, first car was a 91 integra gs, i drove the **** out of the car 24/7 had original 150,000 mile mounts and never had a problem with them, next car was a 95 gsr that car had 110,000 miles when i was done with i drove that car even harder, and never had one problem with a mount going wrong, my current car a a 2001 type R, has 60,000 on it and guess what no problems with mounts, the only way youl need better mounts is if this is going to be a drag only car, thats gonna get dragged almost everyday
ummmmmm well no the b16a2 is from the usdm 99-00 civic si i would know i drove it.... but yes they also do come out of the sir in canada.... ok good to know use the ls mounts and the si linkages..... thats what i'll be doing then... thank you very much everyone....
