i read the forum rules and i was wondering what are teh benifits of getting a bike adn teh pros adn cons of it? i been seeing alot of bieks lately adn they seem to be teh craze for this year so i was thinking of getting one but i heard some horror stories about peopel getting hit adn being killed instanty or end up in comas and also teh good things such as cutting through traffic and goign int eh car pool lane are tehre any otehr benefits?

 

Don't buy a bike because it's "the craze" or because everyone else is doing it. There comes a large degree of responsibilty if you want to ride safely and not greatly increase your chances of ending up like those horror stories. Everyone buys for different reasons, if you don't know why you'd want one then I suggest you wait a little while to jump in.

Some Pros:

-car pool
-parking

-losing money by dropping it
-theft
-weather

Yea... death sucks

I wouldn't give up riding for anything. Once you've tried it, its the most exhilirating thing you can do besides sex (well I guess it depends who you do it with) And um.. its the most fun you can have by yourself (also depends how much lube your using)

I didn't know this year was the "bike craze" that's stupid. If you're planning on getting a bike for the craze please don't! Spell check owns you.

cool yeah i gotta work on the spell check thing but thanks for the info on the bikes well besides the craze i think its pretty kool and bassically im doing it for the chicks so they can grab you during those long trips and point a to point b in half the time and traffic is not in your guy's dictionary correct?
